Food for Peace Draft Strategy 2016‐2025 Comments of USA Maritime

USA Maritime thanks the Office of Food for Peace for the opportunity to submit comments on the July 5, 2016 draft of the Office of Food for Peace, Bureau of Democracy, Conflict and Humanitarian Assistance 2016‐2025 Draft Strategy. Food for Peace is an important, timetested, reliable, and transparent program for the alleviation of hunger, promotion of U.S. agriculture, trade, and the preservation of the U.S. Merchant Marine and related national defense sealift capability. USA Maritime applauds the Office of Food for Peace for undertaking a thoughtful forward‐looking strategy to preserve and improve the world’s premier food aid program. READ ONLINE (PDF)
