Getting more out of food aid

Delivery times for U.S. commodities can be as short as two weeks, food products can be bought overseas when necessary and there is greater emphasis on developmental programs that show results. While only a small part of the Farm Bill, food assistance is a critical component of our nation’s global development and national security strategies, reaching 50 million people a year.
